Thank you very much for having us over at your beautiful home, it was very relaxing and we were spoilt by your generous hospitality. We thoroughly enjoyed our  stay and we will remember Villa Valle Verde with affection.  You have transformed an already attractive farmhouse into a stunning and most comfortable place to stay. It was most exhilarating to wake up and gaze across the valley towards Portugal.  The setting was idyllic and the surrounding Galician countryside was the perfect place to relax and explore.
We would wholeheartedly recommend staying at Villa Valle Verde.
P.S. The visit to Porto and our brief stay in Salamanca were very enjoyable - thanks for recommending the places.

If you want peace & relaxation, with stunning views thrown in, this is the place for you. The location is stunning and the house is welcoming with clean comfortable rooms and en suite facilities. The food is excellent and varied, with both English, Spanish and other varieties of food available at request from your friendly hosts. The area is great for walking and touring, with good motorway links close. It also has the advantage of being near to Portugal for a change of scene. I would highly recommend this establishment to anyone and in fact, have already done so to family and friends.

With cuisine more akin to that of a restaurant than a guesthouse, we found that Valle Verde was the perfect setting to unwind, wine, dine and explore this lesser known part of Spain and Portugal. We stayed here for a week whilst waiting for the volcanic ash to disperse and flights to return to normal. Thanks to the attention afforded to us by our hosts Keith and Cris, a potentially stressful experience was transformed into an incredibly relaxing one. The rooms were airy, clean, comfortable and well appointed with TV, DVD player and tea and coffee making facilities. Wi-fi, Skype and internet were also available. Stunning views, great wines and friendly people are a particular feature of this region, which is guaranteed not to disappoint. However, you will need your own transport if you are to benefit fully from a stay in this impressive location.
